Random tales and stories, usually based on what I do, see or hear. ‘Shot silk’ because I like to look this way and that at things, see how they appear in different lights. And this is an e-home for some of my collection of early 20c postcards.
For what it’s worth, I’m a graduate in English and have embarked on a second start in life. So… Sometimes I take photos and mount them on http://mightygwyn.zenfolio.com, or on flickr, here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mightygwyn/ I’m known to get out of the car, hoik my camera bag on to my shoulder and tramp round Great War battlefields in my beloved Vosges (Alsace). Sometimes I take photos of derelict and decaying old buildings, poke around in archives and write about them as the office junior on http://www.drillhalls.org in the hope of e-saving them before they’re lost forever. And I will, eventually, finish that novel.
My other blog focuses on the Vosges frontier before the Great War.http://thebluelinefrontier.wordpress.com/ Please take a look at it.
Pleased to meet you Gwyn, I’ve just clicked on your link on GWF.
